Syros

Located in the middle of the Cyclades island complex, Syros is the larger by population.
Hermoupolis, the capital town of the island as well as capital of the Prefecture, has a unique style compared to the rest Cycladic islands due to its exceptional neoclassical architecture. The picturesque Cycladic style with the whitewashed small homes on Ano Syros and on the villages of the island, as well as the combination of natural beauty with culture and hospitality of the people is unique, rendering Syros a place to remember.
